sparklingexpressions Helps Make A Wish Deliver One Little Girls Wish

As previously mentioned in another blog post, we had a busy last couple of months. This was by far, one of the most magical and fun blog posts to add in awhile. We were thrilled to be given the opportunity to help Make A Wish Eastern Ontario make yet another wish come true. On this day Miranda's wish to become a Princess for a day was made reality.

On this day, the Fairmont Chateau Laurier was her castle and home to the ballroom for her party and celebration. The staff and volunteers treated everyone who arrived as royalty and for an afternoon it was like truly being in a magical Cinderella story.

There was a limo service provided for transportation to and from, pampering and a spa visit for the princess and her family, and of course the dresses. A fabulous overnight stay at the Castle and of course a gourmet breakfast to start the day off. The RCMP were dressed in formal attire, lined up in formation and ready and on hand to salute Miranda's Royal entrance to the ballroom. Hundreds of guests and entertainers were eagerly awaiting her arrival and the Governor Generals personal representative as well as the Deputy Mayor of Ottawa were on hand to declare this day, Princess Miranda's day, and give her her royal sash and present her with her royal crown. Miranda was showered in gifts, smiles and magic and the not so little motorized pink car was definitely one of the highlight gifts. MDRN Photobooth was on hand to capture all the smiles, and there was dance performers,  and face painting as well as our glitter tattoo's and other various arts, crafts and treats. (can't forget the huge assortment of sugary treats at the candy bar, every child's, and mine's, dream) The following facebook page has a lot of information and pictures on this memorable day. Words can not describe the joy that was felt by everyone this day. The community really stepped up with the help of Make A Wish Eastern Ontario and the smiles that were seen say it all. Thank you Make A Wish for giving us the opportunity to take part in this magical and memorable day.
