Ability First Ottawa Fundraiser

As previously mentioned in another blog post, we've had a busy couple of months and we wanted to take some time to share more information on some of the events we've been too. We were thrilled to be invited and take part in a fundraiser held at Boston Pizza in Barhaven Ontario for Ability First Ottawa. (A Special thanks to Boston Pizza for allowing this fun event to be hosted there) sparklingexpressions was on hand to help decorate everyone in attendance with out Glitter Tattoo's, with 20% of our proceeds going to this amazing community organization.

For those who are not familiar with Ability First Ottawa, a quick trip over to their website will provide you with a great deal of information on one of Ottawa's great community organizations. They are a non profit, charitable organization that provides services for those with and without special needs and disabilities. A truly great organization and a wonderful group of people.

On this night there was plenty of guest speakers, as well as comedian Michael Lifshitz and Boom 99.7's own Dylan Black! There were silent auctions, glitter tattoos, a raffle and of course great tasting food to be had! We had a great time and met a lot of wonderful and new friends.
