Bridge Street Bazaar

The 7th annual Bridge Street Bazaar located in beautiful downtown Carleton Place is fast approaching. Saturday August 4th, 2012, 9am -4pm. What is it? it is a day where the main street through Carleton Place is shut down to vehicle traffic, allowing  crafters, vendors, musicians, artists and retailers showcase their wares and arts to the general public. Last years event saw 130 vendor booths set up shop along the street. If this is not enough, there will be fun to be had for children as well! Inflatable castles and jumping booths, petting zoo's and face painting will also be on hand, as will various live bands, local buskers and mascot's, throughout the day. Fancy a BBQ for lunch or throughout the day? You can find that there as well.

sparklingexpressions will be on hand at this year's bazaar and we are excited about the opportunity to greet, meet and share what we are about with everyone who stops by to say hi. So if you are looking for something fun to do this coming weekend, then the Carleton Place Bridge Street Bazaar is definitely for you! What a difference a week makes!

What a difference a new week can bring. After a couple successful weeks at the Carleton Place Flea Market, we decided it was time to shake things up and improve on our presentation. sparklingexpressions had a new look this week at the Carleton Place Flea Market. A new display that showcased our designs and allowed visitors to visualize our product on their own walls. From the positive response that was received, this was a step in the right direction. The following pictures are from one week ago. The before :

 The wind was rather bad last week, often there were decisions to be made. Grab the canopy and stop it from blowing across the parking lot and then chase the vinyl, or grab the vinyl and pray the canopy would remain. So, with that in mind we decided a new look was in order. One that would benefit our customers and visitors while also making it easier to display our vinyl expressions. Fast forward to July 29th for this week's Flea Market.

 The display wall, to showcase some of our designs and show what a difference a small inspiring quote, or some favored words can make to enhance a wall.

For those that missed the Carleton Place Flea Market today, there is always next Sunday. The Flea Market had its most successful vendor turnout to date. Close to doubling in size in just one week.

We love helping customers in finding that exact wall decal, be it inspiring quotes, personal monograms or that something extra to add a finishing touch. The following pictures are of a recent customer's addition to her wall. The Serenity Prayer, framed in with butterfly and flower, border corners. Pictured is also one of the sparklingexpressions family members going that extra mile to help put up the vinyl wall decal.

Carleton Place Flea Market

sparklingexpressions was in attendance at this past week's flea market in Carleton Place, Ontario. It was another beautiful sunny day and mother nature allowed for another successful weekend. This coming weekend, the sparklingexpressions family will once again, be in attendance for what will be the third weekend of this fast growing vendor event. So if you are looking for something fun to do this Sunday come on out and take a look at what sparklingexpressions has to offer, as well as the many other great vendors, collector',s and retailers.

Carleton Place First Ever Flea Market

sparklingexpressions attended the first ever flea market held in Carleton Place, Ontario, today. The weather was spot on, and the event was a great success. Mother nature held off as far as rain goes allowing the first ever flea market to run without any issues.

The attendance was very steady and we were glad to meet with,  and talk with everyone who came out to support the event. We hope to continue our participation with the flea market, and if you are ever looking for something to do on a Sunday afternoon, come on out and say hi. There are many great vendors, people and tables to see! Rain or shine! Year Round.
The flea market can be found at the Market Square at the intersection of Beckwith Street and Lakeside Avenue.
