Curbside Bites Food Truck Rally

On September 20th, St. Patrick's Home of Ottawa Foundation held their 1st annual  Curbside Bites Food Truck Rally and sparklingexpressions was in attendance.

For those who missed the event it was a great day as mother nature held off with the rain to allow everyone to come out and support a fun filled afternoon with music, live bands, appearances by local personalities , beer tasting, glitter tattoos and of course the many varieties of local food trucks.

For a great write up on the days festivities and event, as well as some pictures, please take a look at Curbside Bites Food Truck Rally.

To know where and when sparklingexpressions will be setting up in the future, please follow us on our own Facebook fan page or our Glitter Tattoo's by sparklingexpressions  fan page.

We were on hand to offer our glitter tattoos for this great Ottawa event and to help raise money with our fundraising program.

Wedding Dance Floors A Big Hit

We recently had the opportunity and honor of taking part with the decorating of a local wedding here in Ottawa/Hull. sparklingexpressions cut and installed a monogram for a very large wedding dance floor (6 feet by 6 feet) and we thought we would share a few pictures of  the design.

Custom vinyl Dance Floor Monograms are a big growing trend and we are more than happy to work with you to create the perfect vinyl decal for your big day. As well we can cut vinyl for many other applications for your wedding day as well, be it chargers, wine glass or bridal showers. Even Glitter Tattoo's!

Touch A Truck by Pon Pon

This was a first for us, but the second year for the folks at Pon Pon Daycare to hold the annual fundraising event called Touch A Truck. And what a fun filled day it was and once again mother nature blessed us with beautiful sunny weather.

The smiles were out in full force as everyone had the opportunity to  take in touching, sitting in Trucks, Sports Cars, Games, Jumpy Castles and much much more. Did I mention the Glitter Tattoos too?!? We were so excited to show off this Glitter Tattoo that we custom made for this event, that we just had to make a blog entry just for it. The Pon Pon Logo all done up in Glitter.

Busy Start to Summer

We might have been quiet on our blog as of recent but we have been rather busy these past weeks. Lots and lots of fun and glitter tattoos for the sparklingexpressions family. The end of Spring had us going to many end of school year functions to help celebrate the end of the year and kick off a fun summer. Even a School fundraiser or two. We have had an amazing time meeting everyone and seeing all the happy faces at each school event we've been too!

With our glitter tattoos being such a hit we decided to open up a new fan page on facebook just for the glitter tattoos! Drop by and take a look at some of the cool glittery fun thats been had.

Having Fun with Glitter Tattoos

Another fun event that we've been too recently was the yearly Fairies in The Park event where the St Lawrence Park becomes a fun filled world of fairies, fairie folk, glitter and magic. This event is held yearly in Brockville Ontario on June 21st, and what an amazing and fun day that was. The weather could not have been any better and the park was filled with so many smiling faces!  Here is a picture of one of those smiling faces! if you missed the 3rd installment of this event then make sure to book that day for next year. It keeps growing and getting better each year. Fairies in The Park by New Leaf Wellness.
