Busy Start to Summer

We might have been quiet on our blog as of recent but we have been rather busy these past weeks. Lots and lots of fun and glitter tattoos for the sparklingexpressions family. The end of Spring had us going to many end of school year functions to help celebrate the end of the year and kick off a fun summer. Even a School fundraiser or two. We have had an amazing time meeting everyone and seeing all the happy faces at each school event we've been too!

With our glitter tattoos being such a hit we decided to open up a new fan page on facebook just for the glitter tattoos! Drop by and take a look at some of the cool glittery fun thats been had.

Having Fun with Glitter Tattoos

Another fun event that we've been too recently was the yearly Fairies in The Park event where the St Lawrence Park becomes a fun filled world of fairies, fairie folk, glitter and magic. This event is held yearly in Brockville Ontario on June 21st, and what an amazing and fun day that was. The weather could not have been any better and the park was filled with so many smiling faces!  Here is a picture of one of those smiling faces! if you missed the 3rd installment of this event then make sure to book that day for next year. It keeps growing and getting better each year. Fairies in The Park by New Leaf Wellness.

Wedding Season

With the wedding season about to start, and spring finally making an appearance we have been busy preparing orders for this coming season. We happened to come across a gallery and short youtube video highlighting one of our customers wedding from last year that we thought we would share. What an honour it is, whenever someone asks sparklingexpression to take part in such a special day like this.

You may have recalled this blog update from last year at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa. Here is the link to the youtube video highlighting the wedding and giving you a peek at the vinyl decals and wedding dance floor decal we had the pleasure of making for this wonderful day. If you would like to see some amazing photographs of the vinyl decals and this wedding, unioneleven photography took some amazing pictures, including the one below. The photographs can be found at this wedding gallery.

Go Get'em TEAroma-THÉaroma

As many of our followers and customers know, our founders and owners (Nicky and Mark) also have another business venture, TEAroma ~ THÉaroma which specializes in the sale of delicious loose tea.  sparklingexpressions would like to throw our support behind their latest journey as they compete for a top 5 spot in this years Love Your Local Business contest. Daily voting for this competition takes place during the month of October with the top 5 businesses advancing to the finals and a chance to win a month long commercial run on CBC or a spot on the Dragons Den. How amazing would that be?

But in order to attain this opportunity they must gather enough votes (Daily voting) to finish in the top 5. If you are curious in learning more about THÉaroma, then please head on over to their blog  or visit their facebook page.

To show your support and join us in voting for them, head on over to  Love Your Local Business and cast your daily vote. (you need to register the first time and you can login using your Facebook account)
