Go Get'em TEAroma-THÉaroma

As many of our followers and customers know, our founders and owners (Nicky and Mark) also have another business venture, TEAroma ~ THÉaroma which specializes in the sale of delicious loose tea.  sparklingexpressions would like to throw our support behind their latest journey as they compete for a top 5 spot in this years Love Your Local Business contest. Daily voting for this competition takes place during the month of October with the top 5 businesses advancing to the finals and a chance to win a month long commercial run on CBC or a spot on the Dragons Den. How amazing would that be?

But in order to attain this opportunity they must gather enough votes (Daily voting) to finish in the top 5. If you are curious in learning more about THÉaroma, then please head on over to their blog  or visit their facebook page.

To show your support and join us in voting for them, head on over to  Love Your Local Business and cast your daily vote. (you need to register the first time and you can login using your Facebook account)

Sneak Peek into National Arts Centre Dance Floor

A few weeks ago we wrote about a recent project we had finished at the National Arts Centre in downtown Ottawa. We have recently gotten permission to post a few pictures we snapped ourselves, with our phone camera. These are not professional pictures in any way, but we thought we would give our followers a sneak peek into what we have been up to as of lately. Quite a few weddings from dance floors, and glow bars to tumblers, bachelorette parties gift bags and wedding reception mason jar and wine glasses. All custom made.

And now for the sneak peek. (Professional Pictures to come in the near future  To see more fabulous pictures for this wedding, please visit the Style Me Pretty site)

To get an idea as to what this all looked like during the early evening, head on over to the facebook page for TOAST Special Events who coordinated this amazing rooftop wedding reception. It truly was an amazing experience and these pictures do not allow you the true experience that was had from seeing in person. The glass chargers, and wineglasses were hand polished and sparkling, the glow lights were simply amazing and the colours just popped out. Keep an eye on the TOAST page for professional pictures to come.

Wedding Dance Floor and Glow Bar Vinyl Expressions at the National Arts Centre

sparklingexpressions had the honor of being trusted with the design, creation and installation of some very special vinyl decals for a couple as they celebrated their wedding at the National Arts Centre in downtown Ottawa this weekend. Without a doubt this was a very fun project to do, and was quite an honor to have been asked and trusted to carry this project through. The final product was amazing to see, with the glow and lights throughout the tent, the glass tableware, flowers, and everything just seemed to come together perfectly, and the rooftop scenery was amazing as well.

We will post photographs and more information in the future once we have confirmation and permission.
